Milwaukee Bucks - Utah Jazz

Bucks have high selfconfidence at the moment, thanks for their good streak. At the moment anything seems to be possible them after they won big teams Cavaliers and Celtics at home. The spot was bad for these teams. Cavaliers rested LeBron and this gave a signal about the meanigfulness of the match for the rest of the team and Celtics were in bad form enough. Celtics had a good lead but they lost it and on the next day they lost at home against Grizzlies with big numbers.
Jazz is a decent visitor and as I previously wrote to Bucks vs Celtics match that Bucks should not be favoured, is the story the same this time also expect in their current form Jazz should be way better than Celtics who were a disappointment.
Jazz has won Bucks nine times during the last ten encounters and I think the history will repeat itself this time.

Peng makes her comeback after her appendicitis operation what happened 31.1. Usually you have to be more careful for three weeks after the operation and the full recovery takes 1-2 weeks. Now the passed time is a bit under one and half months so I believe she can not be in good form. At the end of the last season Peng won players as Sharapova and Jankovic but that form can not be compared to the form of today.
Makarova has shown nothing too promising but now she has a good chance to go for the second round. She is lefty and since the players have not faced before her serve might offer to the start problems for Peng. Peng is so far in Indian Wells 4-5 and Makarova 2-2.

We have a strong hometeam versus another strong team but on the road. Because of the history the teams are waited to have play-offs atmosphere in the game and in playoffs the hometeam has always bigger edge compared to normal league games.
Also Lakers have bad results lately. The team is angry and wants to get better results and what is a better spot for them than in a relatively important game. For Slovakia the bronze-match is a big achievement but they have achieved it by playing. They have fought well but since Finland is more rested to the match I dare not to play Slovakia even they have been so far the better team.
Finland comes to the match after humiliating 6-0 loss for USA in the first set. They have had good goalkeepers and now it is maybe a bit strange but they allow Kiprusoff to continue on the goal in the bronze-match too. I trust he will gather himself to this match. What comes to the offence of Finland there is no much hooray'ing. Some players start to be slow, they have no real shooters from the blueline. Against tougher teams (Sweden, Czech, USA) they have done only three goals. One to the empty net, one "lucky" goal and their goal against USA when USA was not playing anymore 100%.

Los Angeles Clippers - Detroit Pistons

Clippers are playing well at home and their players seem to be in form. The odds are higher this time since Pistons has been strong in their last two matches too. Beating Spurs was impressive but not so impressive when you check how many matches Spurs had played in row on the road. Yesterday a win over Kings and now they have their 3rd match in four days and 6th in nine, Clippers have had easier so this favours them too. I am not so big fan of handicap this time because the game can go close and Clippers had their weaker period but they played in that against stronger opponents so I trust they will not fail but will be carefull too at the same time.

Neither of these teams are a real top team. Bordeaux is the stronger team out of the two teams but as many times in such situations the underdog knows their place to hit is at home. Bordeaux is not anymore as big defensive might than it once was but their defence still works well. Olympiakos sure tries to make some goals with big heart but they know giving Bordeaux a goal on the road is hard to overcome so I am waiting carefull approach by both teams to the game.

Samuel Querrey - John Isner

Two Americans meet each others in the final of Memphis indoors court. Querrey has been extrememly impressive so far in the tournament. His serve works and he has gotten his game forward, he reads the game well and moves better than before.
Isner is a serving machine and the court suits for his forehand but "new" Querrey seems too much for him especially when playing against his previous German opponent his concentration weakened and he had troubles to keep his first serve percentage high. Isner probably will not see many break oppurtunities and Querrey has capability to push more Isner's serve. We will see probably at least one tiebreak which are lotteries but 1.70 odds this time for Querrey are enough to play since keeping his edge over Isner at the moment in mind.

Toronto Raptors - Philadelphia 76ers

Two hot teams meet each others in a match what is the last match before the break for both teams so it is important for both teams, especially Raptors listed their game before and after the all-star break to be their one of their the most important games.
The schedule favours Raptors. They have had time to rest at home when 76ers arrives to Canada from Minnesota. Normally this would be big advantage for Raptors but in this situation I do not see it like that. At first 76ers had easy win yesterday, they did not need any bigger effort and the second reason is that they have the momentum and this is their last game before the break. Usually when a team gets the spirit on, it is many times better to play many games than having easy schedule because as fast as the momentum comes, as fast it can die.
The results of Raptors have been good but 76ers are the team who have something to prove before the break. They have totally underachieved compared to the predictions before the season, after all this team has potential and they are young. Bulls have extremely bad history in the home-stadium of Pacers. They are 3-17 there since 1999.
Pacers are at home 12-13, they have usually good home support so they have underachieved a bit in my opinion. Bulls are better team but 9-17 road record is not too promising for them either.
Deng plays probably for Bulls today but his shoulder form hardly is strong. Anyway if he plays it is good for Bulls since he can guard Granger. For Rose this looks like a high scoring game against a team like Pacers but at home Pacers definitely have the edge and if their streaky 3-point shooters get the shoots to go well, the numbers might get big.

Marin Cilic - Stanislas Wawrinka

Neither player had no troubles on the first round. Berdych won injury troubled Haase and Korolev Brands. At the start of the season Berdych has a bit more comvincing results and is definitely right favourite to the match against erratic Korolev but Berdych is not mr. stability himself either so making him to be over 75% favourite to the match, where his opponent's gamestyle suits to the court and who has great potential to be dangerous, is absurd. The movement of Berdych has been lately not so good as it was few years ago so Korolev with his hard hits on his good day has decent chances to take the match.

Vikings were the other team with Patriots which won all regular season homegames. Patriots was outplayed on last weekend and on this weekend the other hometeam will have hard times. If we check all 8 teams left in NFL at the moment Cowboys has been in the hottest form and also they seem the most balanced. Their offense and defense are good and they have deepness.
Vikings have scary offense what Favre leads, they can run and pass and experienced fox like Favre does not fear the pressure or some hits by Cowboys. Cowboys should get some pressure on Favre or the game might be lost. I think they are able to do this.
The secondary of Vikings is their weakest point. Much rests on the shoulders of Cowboys quarterback Romo. Vikings has the ability to sack Romo so we will see how he manages to hold his mental stage. Celtics has not been on their best without their injured players and even yesterday was easy win where they had no need to stress the best players much, is this 3/4 situation.
Bulls have gotten their game better. Last year they were able to push Celtics in playoffs and I am sure they see now their chance against Celtics which are slightly damaged and in hard schedule. Seeing Bulls to walk away from the match as a winner is not impossible idea but since Bulls have 3-13 record on the road they do not seem worth of SU bet but since they get 6,5 points I think they are worth of the risk with the handicap.

New York Knicks - Charlotte Bobcats

Both of the teams have had a good rest and both teams have been in raising form.
Knicks have been known about their offensive game under D'Antoni's coaching but now their defense has chanced to better direction, especially when we talk about perimeter defense. Bobcats uses much perimeter shooting. Knicks have strong offense but Bobcats have the capability to stop their offense.
So far they have met three times during the season. The first match was at the start of the season and two meetings in December ending to 192 and 181 points. I have no reason to believe the total should be much higher than 195.

Knicks have been known about their offensive game under D'Antoni's coaching but now their defense has chanced to better direction, especially when we talk about perimeter defense. Bobcats uses much perimeter shooting. Knicks have strong offense but Bobcats have the capability to stop their offense.
So far they have met three times during the season. The first match was at the start of the season and two meetings in December ending to 192 and 181 points. I have no reason to believe the total should be much higher than 195.

Rockets are able to score much or lesser amount of points depending of the pace. Usually they want to control the space but when Phoenix is at home they are controlling the pace of the game.
Both teams are in back to back situation. In fast pace game I assume the defense gets less attention than normally.

Cavaliers are a rested team. They are hard team to beat at home especially now when they lost against Bobcats three days before in their previous match.
Wizards are coming to the match after a good win yesterday. The schedule favours Cavaliers.
The handicap is big but we must remember the recent history between these teams. Wizards have been pushing Cavaliers during the last two years since Cavaliers won their playoff game. They are playing hard knowing how to play if watching the results. The games have been tight ones.
Wizards have been playing many times on this season bad second half and now they are in back to back situation facing rested and good defensive team. The biggest weapon of Wizards is still offense.
